A FRIEND IS FOREVER
A friend is forever
Two people together
So don't let that friend go
Or you will feel so low.
A shoulder to cry on
A voice that you’II laugh at
And when you've done well,
Your back they will pat.
When you need help
Just give them a call
And they will pop round
What else are friends for?
Friendship is a special thing
Not just a friend on the phone.
A friend is someone
Who will not mind a groan.
If you are sad
The friend will be too
Because a friend is normally
Quite like you.
So a friend is forever
Two people together
Don't Jet that friend go
Or you will feel so low.
