Victoria's Poems
Four came from Manchester
To enjoy the Florida sun.
A few days later a plane from Glasgow
Brought another one.
The next night the villa was full -
Three more came that day.
It was really very funny,
Is anyone else coming to stay?
Eight of us in the house
Was an incredible family feeling.
It was so nice being together,
The street must have heard our screaming.
Your villa was so pretty,
Your generosity is incredible.
It’s been the holiday of a lifetime
And to the Yeowarts we’re so grateful.
By your private pool
I enjoyed a good book and swam,
I even wore a bikini
To get an all-over tan.
Disneyworld was fantastic,
The surroundings are really great.
I even went to Bonanza Golf,
But the temp. was 98.
Spending all day in the pool,
Then came the thunderstorm,
But we still bathed under your shelter –
Why not, it’s still very warm?
The ten days in the villa
Really were just fab,
The best part of our holiday
We could all just go mad.
We’ve really had a super time,
The time here has been great,
We’d like to thank you one and all
From all of us, all eight!
