Friends
April 24th, 2008 by admin
Laughing on the ‘phone
Crying on her shoulder
Having fun as kids
Together you’re growing older.
A friend is a special person
Lots of them you may have,
But there’s normally a special one,
Always there through good and bad.
Through stress, bereavement and illness
Always there by your side
Then ready and wanting to celebrate
In all the more happier times.
You argue ‘bout boys over years
Then also those teenage fights
But that’s what your friendship’s based on
Spending hours on the ‘phone at night.
You know she’ll be there forever
Through uni, marriage and divorce,
It’s much stronger than a friendship
It’s like a bond growing more and more.
