Starting a new high school

You think those times were tough

Going on to GCSE

Then you think you’ve had enough.

You want to continue the study

Knowing it’s going to be hard.

The nearer it is to those exams

The more you wish you were in the yard.

Playing in the yard with the kids

Those were the easy days.

Now it’s on to A-levels

Soon we’ll be going separate ways.

Starting lives at uni,

You can hardly bear to think.

How fast the time has gone

Since you were bundled up in pink!
